“I am delighted to return to the beautiful city of Nice at the invitation of my sister, Marie-Josèphe Jude, President of the International Summer Academy of Nice. We are pleased to organize a classical dance course from July 25 to 30, 2022, featuring renowned names in dance.

This city, Nice, holds a special place in my heart as it is where I began my classical dance studies at the Regional Conservatory of Nice, at the villa “Paradiso” in 1968, with the great Master Alexandre Kalioujny, Star of the Paris Opera. Subsequently, I was fortunate to join the Ballet of the National Opera of Paris and to dance there throughout my career as a Star. This region also allowed me to have an unexpected encounter with the man who would become my mentor and friend, the great Rudolf Nureyev, on the beach of Eze by the sea!

It is therefore a true honor and a great joy to instill my passion for this Art in this young generation of emerging artists during this course at the International Summer Academy of Nice 2022.”
