Edouard Cambreling began studying the horn at the Conservatoire de Lyon with Daniel Foubert and Joël Nicod, then at the Conservatoire de Paris under Jérôme Rouillard and Vladimir Dubois. He continued his training at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin in the class of Marie-Luise Neunecker, before obtaining a master's degree at the Universität der Künste Berlin under the direction of Christian-Friedrich Dallmann. From 2017 to 2022, he was a member of the Philharmonisches Orchester der Hansestadt Lübeck. Since August 2022, he has been a member of the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester.

Edouard Cambreling has performed with numerous prestigious ensembles, including the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra Amsterdam, the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra Munich, the Staatskapelle Dresden, the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich, and the Munich Philharmonic.
