Isabelle Duha studied at the Paris Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in the classes of Specialized Solfège, Harmony, Counterpoint, and Fugue.
She pursued her piano studies under the direction of Germaine Mounier and Yvonne Loriod. She teaches musical language: harmony, counterpoint, keyboard harmony, figured bass, memorization, and improvisation at the Paris Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique, at the École Normale Supérieure (Ulm), and at the Issy-les-Moulineaux Conservatory. She is invited to give masterclasses in France at the American Schools of Art in Fontainebleau and abroad, notably at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Finland, and at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague in the Netherlands. A concert pianist, she performs chamber music concerts with numerous partners. She gives lecture-recitals on themes related to musical language: The Musical Language of Bach, Meeting Point Between the Vertical and the Horizontal / Schumann: Mastering Imbalance / Debussy: Pleasure is the Rule / The Art of the Ballets Russes. She is the author of a pedagogical work: L'Harmonie en liberté (Harmony in Freedom), published by Éditions Billaudot.
