Artistic director of the Journées Musicales Marcel Proust, laureate of international competitions including the ARD Munich Competition, Anne-Lise Gastaldi is notably the pianist of the "Trio George Sand". Her love of literature has led her to perform with Loïc Corbery, Anny Duperey, Marianne Denicourt, Clément Hervieu-Léger, Michaël Lonsdale, Benoît Poelvoorde, Didier Sandre... Laureate of the renowned "Villa Medici Hors les Murs" program, she created the show Escales Romaines, recounting the history of the Prix de Rome for musical composition. Her discography, mainly dedicated to chamber music – Fauré, Ravel, Schumann, Stravinsky... – has been recognized in Classica, Le Monde de la Musique, Diapason, and Télérama. Her latest album, dedicated to Gustav Mahler, was released on the Elstir label in partnership with the Médiathèque Musicale Mahler, the Mahler Foundation, the Royaumont Foundation, and France Musique. Professor of pedagogy at the CNSMD de Paris, where she is also assistant in Florent Boffard's piano class, Anne-Lise Gastaldi is also professor of piano at the CRR de Paris. Together with Valérie Haluk, she initiated Piano Project, then Univers Parallèles, collections of piano pieces written specifically for students by great composers such as Pierre Boulez, Peter Eötvös, and Bruno Mantovani. Anne-Lise Gastaldi is also artistic director of the ClassicaVal Festival in Val d'Isère and collection director at Éditions Billaudot.
