After a unanimous 1st Prize in violin at the CNR of Tours, she was admitted to the CNSM of Paris where she obtained a unanimous 1st Prize in Chamber Music in 1991 in Michel Strauss's class and a unanimous 1st Prize in Violin in 1992 in Gérard Poulet's class. Admitted the same year to the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia in Aaron Rosand's class, she graduated in 1996 with a "Bachelor degree", then continued her musical studies at the Juilliard School of New York in Glenn Dicterow's class where she obtained a "Master degree" in 1998.

In May 2000, she was appointed "Supersoloist" of the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra, under the direction of Marek Janowski, and plays as soloist with Walter Weller, Pascal Rophé, Kazuki Yamada, Emir Nuhanovic, Alexandre Bloch...

In 2013, she recorded with the Goldberg Trio the famous "Goldberg Variations" by J.S. Bach, in the transcription for string trio by Dmitri Sitkovetski, and the trio has since been invited to numerous festivals in France and abroad. A second album was released in 2018 with trios by Jean Cras, Mieczyslaw Weinberg, Gideon Klein, and Ernst von Dohnányi for the ARS Produktion label.

In 2017 she recorded "Rêverie et Caprice" by Berlioz with the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Kazuki Yamada, released in December 2017 on the OPMC Classics label distributed by Warner. She also recorded the concerto grosso by Luis Bacalov which will be released in 2024 on the OPMC Classics label.

The Goldberg Trio recorded its third album in 2020 entitled Paris Moscow, featuring works by Haydn, Schubert, Enesco, Taneyev, Krasa and Jean Françaix, and in 2023 a 4th CD dedicated to Beethoven's op.9 trios. They also recorded an album dedicated to Mozart's flute quartets, with flutist Jean Ferrandis.

Liza Kerob also devotes herself to the joys of jazz and improvisation, which she has practiced since childhood. She plays a violin by Battista Gabrielli from 1754, on loan from a Swiss private collection.
