Born into a family of musicians in Odessa, Elena Rozanova studied at the Gnessin School and the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow. Her teachers were Tatiana Zelikman, Alexei Nassedkin, and Evgeny Mogilevsky. She has won prizes in several international competitions: the Marguerite Long-Jacques Thibaud Competition in Paris, the Eduard Flipse Competition in Rotterdam, the Takahiro Sonoda Competition in Fukuoka, Japan, the Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition... She is a laureate of the Cziffra Foundation. Elena Rozanova performs as a soloist with orchestras including the Orchestre National de France, the Orchestre National de Montpellier, the Orchestre National de Lille, the Orchestre d'Auvergne, the Royal Flemish Philharmonic, the Novosibirsk Symphony Orchestra, the St. Petersburg Camerata, and Camerata Ireland, with conductors such as Jean-Claude Casadesus, Saulius Sondeckis, Arnold Katz... She participates in numerous festivals: l'Orangerie de Sceaux, Schleswig-Holstein, Carinthian Summer, Piano en Valois, La Roque d'Anthéron, Radio France Montpellier, La Folle Journée de Nantes, Île de France, Ravinia... Elena Rozanova plays in a trio with violinist Svetlin Roussev and cellist François Salque. Her chamber music partners also include Josef Silverstein, Raphael Oleg, Vladimir Mendelssohn, Dora Schwarzberg, the Ysaÿe Quartet, and the Belcea Quartet. In recent seasons, Elena Rozanova has performed at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, the Piano(s) Festival in Lille, in Toulon, Nîmes, at the Belém Cultural Center in Lisbon, at the Théâtre de la Ville, Théâtre du Châtelet, at the Colmar, Serres d'Auteuil, Divonne, L'Empéri, Quimper festivals, and at the Liszt Festival in Provence... Notable engagements include performances with the Orchestre National de Lille, Camerata Ireland under Barry Douglas, the Novosibirsk Symphony Orchestra, the Montpellier Orchestra, and the "Novaya Rossiya" Orchestra. Her solo and chamber music recordings have been widely acclaimed by the press ("Choc" from "Le Monde de la Musique", 5 Stars from Fono Forum in Germany, Diapason d'Or, 10 from Classica/Répertoire, CD of the Month from Arte). Her latest CD was released on DECCA with her favorite partners Svetlin Roussev and François Salque. Also committed to teaching, Elena Rozanova is a piano professor at the CRR de Paris and is regularly invited to give masterclasses around the world. She is artistic director of the "Classicaval" and "Châtel Classic" festivals as well as the classical programming at the Auditorium of the Pôle Culturel Chabran. Since January 2016, Elena has been director of the Conservatory of the Dracénie Agglomeration.
